MEMO TO: All Muscles Galore Employees
From: Dean Prewitt
Date: April 17, 2013
RE: Plant operation, bonuses, and the future of Muscles Galore
Thanks to you, employees of Muscles Galore, we have weathered the economic storm brought with this recession. Sales projects forecast a 20% sales increase next year. None of this could have been down without you.
As we all know, this slow economy has crippled consumer spending. The fitness business has taken one of the largest hits of all. Desipte the tireless work of our employees, sales are down roughly 15% from last year. With these losses, everyone in the company is being asked to make a sacrifice in order to ensure the long term success of the company. Unfornated, we have decided it is in the best interest of the company to not provide bonuses this holiday season. While the decision was indeed a difficult one, not doing so would put the company and the employment stability of all of it’s employees in grave financial danger.
If our 20% projections are accurate, next holiday season will be accompanied with generos bonuses for all. I thank you for your support and continued sacrifice to strengthen the foundation of Muscles Galore.
Best Regards,
Dean Prewitt
CEO Muscles Galore

First of all, I would like to say that we do agree that you contributed successfully to this company in the last two years. And, your overall performance has been also satisfactory during this period.
